Ⅰ. Achieving Our Mission and Vision

GFEC aims to establish an equal and friendly cooperation platform for all countries by encouraging exchanges in green finance and economy and other related fields.

GFEC is committed to the research of green finance and economy and encourages the participation of countries around the world, including but not limited to scientific research, academic exchange, and education.

The Code of Conduct is the aim and a common set of core values of GFEC. It is the responsibility of us to comply with and commit to our code of conduct.

 Ⅱ. Mutual Support and Respect

1. Principles

· We set the tone for this commitment: GFEC will provide a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment for each member, partner and other interested parties that join GFEC.

· As an international organization, GFEC ensures that any project will be conducted and acted upon in a manner consistent with its values, and that GFEC will consistently maintain a high level of fairness and compassion in all aspects of the collaborative process.

2. Practices

· GFEC will follow the basic principles of friendship, equality, objectivity and neutrality, and we will treat each other with respect, honesty and without prejudice. GFEC will always maintain an attitude of exchange, openness and cooperation, innovation, and a focus on resource conservation and environmental protection, and we expect our members and partners to regard these principles as a basis. For the criteria of joining GFEC, this is based solely on professional competence and the shared values.

· GFEC is strongly opposed to any form of discrimination, harassment and bullying – verbal, physical or visual.

 Ⅲ. Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest

GFEC maintains a non-profit status, and all income from GFEC, including funds or any other form of income, will be used to support the daily operations of the work, the salaries and benefits of employees, and the development of GFEC itself. We will disclose relevant financial reports and other information in accordance with the laws and regulations and requirements of the country or region and funding units.

 Ⅳ. No Involvement in Political, Military

GFEC shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in partisan political processes at any level of government, in military conflicts between countries. We adhere to objectivity and neutrality all the time, and do not engage in any form of ideological struggle, disagreement, extreme religious activities and terrorism, etc.On the other hand, GFEC recommends that all employees and partners avoid participating in the activities mentioned above.

 Ⅴ. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

·  GFEC takes its responsibility to comply with laws and regulations highly seriously, and we will strictly comply with relevant international laws, international economic laws, and applicable laws and administrative regulations of the countries concerned.

· GFEC will not misrepresent or conceal any data or facts related to green finance and economics, and we will ensure that the reporting documents produced are complete and accurate.

 Ⅵ. Focus on the Environment

GFEC hopes that by promoting the sustainable development of the financial and economic sectors, it will not only guide countries around the world to focus on green, resource-saving technology development and eco-environmental protection industries, but also further contribute to the achievement of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. It is an important vision of GFEC to strengthen the flow of information and cooperation between countries around the world and multilateral regional institutions in green finance and economy-related fields.

This Code of Conduct represents GFEC’s expectations of all its members and partners, and it will permeate every aspect of GFEC’s work in the future; GFEC aspires to provide a platform that contributes to the sustainable development of the global finance and economy, and encourages more participants to learn and to maintain an optimistic and friendly attitude towards work and life.
